          FAQ

  • Q: In order for 10% of my purchase to count, do I need to mention that I am eating at the restaurant for America Eats for Israel?
A: No. All participating restaurants will be donating 10% of the amount spent at their store on March 11th regardless of specific mention.

  • Q: Do I need to pay anything extra?
A: No, the restaurants will be charging their regular prices.

  • Q: What if I cannot make it to a restaurant on March 11th?
A: We are glad to accept donations by mail or online through credit card transfer. Please see our donations page.

  • Q: How about take out?
A: All purchases, whether sit down, pick up, or delivery will count towards the America Eats for Israel cause.

  • Q: Is every restaurant participating?
A: No, please check your area's list for a complete listing of participating restaurants near you.

  • Q: What can I do if there are no participating Kosher restaurants nearby?
A: Donations are always welcome. You may want to organize a special meal in honor of Yom Ha'atzmaut and America Eats for Israel day. If it is for the community, you can donate 10% of the cost for each person. If it is in your home you can donate 10% of what you spent on the meals of that day.

  • Q: How can I help increase the profit made?
A: Make arrangements with schools and companies to try getting more people to eat from a participating restaurant on America Eats for Israel Day. In the past companies have arranged to order in breakfast and lunch and schools have given extra time for older students to go out for meals. Many families have eaten out for all three meals on America Eats for Israel Day. Contact friends and family all across the US and urge them to eat out on March 11th in honor of this project.
